Model and broadcaster Han Hye-jin criticized her villa in Hongcheon, Gangwon Province.
On the 7th, a video was uploaded to Han Hye-jin's YouTube channel, featuring her evaluation of her villa. In the video, Han Hye-jin discussed various inconveniences she experienced at the villa. She began by saying, "It's been about three years since I built the villa in Hongcheon. I spent over six months on the design and made dozens of modifications, but once I lived there, I found many issues."
She first pointed out the location of the main entrance. Han Hye-jin said, "People think the door in front of the parking lot is the main entrance, but actually, it’s a side entrance. The main entrance is located at the back of the building." She added, "I envisioned appreciating the scenery while walking from the parking lot to the main entrance, but people tend to park their cars near the entrance instead. It's rare for someone to enter through the main entrance," expressing her disappointment.
She also expressed dissatisfaction with the exterior. "To make the villa look stylish, I painted the roof black and designed the building to be long. However, when my mom saw the villa, she joked that it looks like a barn," she admitted. Han Hye-jin even acknowledged her mother's joke, saying, "One time, while returning home from grocery shopping, I passed by the villa and it really did look like a barn." Additionally, regarding the north-facing entrance, she mentioned, "In winter, the snow doesn't melt, making it impossible to open the door."
The outdoor shower facility was rendered useless by the CCTV installed to prevent external intrusions. Han Hye-jin stated, "The CCTV I installed because of intruders ruined the fantasy. Anyway, it’s just for me to see the footage," adding that the dream was merely a dream.
Conversely, Han Hye-jin expressed satisfaction regarding the installation of a stove in the living room, stating, "That was a perfect choice."
Meanwhile, Han Hye-jin gained attention by revealing her villa, which spans 500 pyeong (approximately 1,650 square meters), through her channel. She currently lives between Seoul and Hongcheon.
