Fans are focused on the meeting between actor Lee Byung-hun and Jeon Ji-hyun.

On the 3rd, Jeon Ji-hyun's agency, Peach Company, announced to multiple media outlets that "Jeon Ji-hyun received an offer to appear in 'Koreans'". It added, "It is one of the projects under consideration."

'Koreans' is a spy drama adapted from the popular American FX series 'The Americans', set against a South Korean backdrop during the military dictatorship era. Lee Byung-hun is known to be in the final stages of negotiations for the male lead role.

If the two confirm their participation in the project, it would mark their reunion after approximately 26 years since the 1999 SBS drama 'Happy Together'. At that time, they portrayed siblings, but this time they have been offered roles as a married couple, generating excitement.

Meanwhile, Jeon Ji-hyun stars alongside Kang Dong-won in Disney Plus's 'Polaris'. In the project, she transforms into UN Ambassador Moon Joo. Kang Dong-won plays a nationality-ambiguous special agent named San-ho.

Lee Byung-hun meets the audience through Park Chan-wook's new film 'It Can't Be Helped'. The movie tells the story of a company employee named Man-soo who engages in a war for reemployment after being fired. Lee Byung-hun pairs up with Son Ye-jin.
