Actor Shim Hyung-tak candidly shares about his realistic marriage life and child-rearing plans.

The MBC variety show 'Radio Star' airing on the 10th will feature a special themed 'Wealthy Hearts, Poor Bodies' with guests Kim Soo-yong, Lim Hyung-jun, Shim Hyung-tak, and Kim In-man.

Shim Hyung-tak drew attention for overcoming an 18-year age gap to marry his Japanese wife, Hirai Saya. Having welcomed their son Haru in January of this year, Shim Hyung-tak has recently joined the KBS2 show 'The Return of Superman,' attracting viewers' interest.

Shim Hyung-tak reveals that he and his wife reached an agreement on their child-rearing plans. He states, "My wife and I wanted different numbers of children, but we found common ground," discussing the process of reconciling their opinions. Moreover, he induces laughter with stories about their cross-cultural experiences in parenting.

As a true fan of the character Doraemon, Shim Hyung-tak shares his secret of sneaking figures into his home without his wife's knowledge while also taking care to encourage his child to like Doraemon. He mentions, "In Japan, there is a 'three-generational Doraemon' culture that connects the father, himself, and his son." He expresses his desire to take Haru to see a Doraemon movie.

At the end of the segment, Shim Hyung-tak surprises everyone by mentioning that despite his acting career requiring him to be on set, he still juggles child-rearing, even revealing that he has had a nosebleed from the effort.
