Singer KCM revealed the untold story of hiding his wife and two daughters for 12 years.

On the 15th, during the TV Chosun variety show 'Lovestruck in Joseon', singer KCM met with Kim Byeong-man and shared various stories.

KCM started the conversation by saying to Kim Byeong-man, "I was surprised to see your (remarriage) article and thought about calling or texting, but I didn’t. When my marriage article first came out, I received a lot of messages. I felt sorry for not being able to reply individually." Kim Byeong-man comforted him, saying, "Didn’t you have your own heartaches before me?"

KCM confessed, "In fact, I had a lot of debt. I was really scared that it would become family debt after getting married." This was the reason he had no choice but to keep his family hidden.

After repaying the debts, KCM registered his marriage with his wife while crying, and explained that he publicly revealed his marriage a month later. KCM mentioned, "I was also very scared when I opened up about my marriage. I had been cowardly for over ten years. It’s personal, but I couldn’t talk about it. Because entertainers work under the love and gaze of the public." He added cautiously, "At that time, I let everything go. My wife and the eldest child discouraged me. So I told them, ‘If I have you two, I’m fine. I can lose everything else.’"

Earlier this March, KCM publicly confessed that he has two daughters. The daughters were born from his non-celebrity wife, who is nine years younger than him; his first daughter was born in 2012, and the second daughter was born in 2022. KCM and his wife legally became a couple when they registered their marriage in 2021.
