Model and broadcaster Joo Woo-jae shared his honest thoughts on street flyers.
On the 23rd, a video titled 'Stories that Bring Fists | ISTP Joo Woo-jae's Life Counseling Center' was released on the YouTube channel 'Today's Joo Woo-jae'.
In this video, a subscriber's concern about whether to accept street flyers was discussed. The subscriber mentioned, "I tend to not accept flyers. Many of them carry religious meanings, so I started refusing them altogether." He added, "However, my friend says that as long as we accept the flyers, their work is done, so we should take them."
In response, Joo Woo-jae stated, "I believe it's right for each person to act in their own way as long as it doesn't harm others," and continued, "I judge based on the attitude of those who are handing out flyers. If they seem angry or pushy, I just say 'Sorry' and walk past. But if it seems they're trying not to cause harm, I might accept them first."
Notably, Joo Woo-jae said, "Just because you don't accept a flyer doesn't mean you're being rude," adding, "If my friend says, 'It's disrespectful to elders,' I think I'd choose to cut ties with my friend before the flyer."
His stance that both accepting and declining flyers is a personal freedom has spread across various social media and online communities.
