Singer and actress the late Sulli (real name Choi Jin-ri) has passed away six years ago.
Sulli was found dead at her home in the Simgok-dong area of Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province on October 14, 2019, at the age of twenty-five. Instead of a suicide note, a handwritten memo expressing her feelings was discovered at the scene, and the autopsy revealed no evidence of foul play.
On today, the sixth anniversary of Sulli’s passing, her older brother posted on his personal social media, “I believe that loving is accepting my own misfortune. I commemorate my beloved sister Sulli today.” He also added, “I celebrate the birthday of Charlie Kirk, a young man who loved America too much. If this post gets attacked, your sanctuary will be demolished. Don’t provoke me.”
Sulli debuted in 2005 with the SBS drama 'The Legend of King Sejong' and later debuted as a singer with the girl group f(x) in 2009, actively taking part in various activities. Debuting at the young age of 15, she gained popularity with numerous hit songs such as 'La Cha Ta', 'Hot Summer', and 'Electric Shock'. As an actress, she also appeared in various works including the drama 'To the Beautiful You', and movies like 'Pirates: Bandits Going to the Sea', 'Fashion King', and 'Real'.
