This winter, the play 'Elephant Song' returns to the stage to celebrate its 10th anniversary with a special season.

On the 21st, production company Nine Story revealed the casting lineup for the 10th anniversary season, featuring both actors who have been part of the production for the last decade and new faces joining the cast.

'Elephant Song' is a psychological thriller drama that revolves around a sudden disappearance, where hospital director Greenberg confronts patient Michael, the last witness to the events. Through dialogues between the three characters—the hospital director, the patient, and the head nurse—truths and twists unfold like a puzzle, delivering thrilling tension to the audience. The play is known as the debut work of Canadian author Nicolas Billon and is also well-known as a film of the same name featuring Xavier Dolan.

This work premiered in Asia in 2015, and instantly became a hot topic by selling out all tickets as soon as they were released. Since then, it has earned the nickname of "the play that comes to mind in winter" and has continued to receive steady love every year.

In this 10th anniversary season, under the direction of Kim Ji-ho, Park Eun-seok, Kim Ji-on, Yoo Hyun-seok, Lee Jae-kyun, Kim Hyun-jin, Jung Hwi, Yoon Jae-ho, and Kwak Dong-yeon will take on the role of Michael. Park Eun-seok, who has been with the original and revival productions, returns after 8 years, and Lee Jae-kyun comes back after 10 years, while new faces like Kim Ji-on, Yoo Hyun-seok, and Yoon Jae-ho join in to showcase their own unique interpretations of Michael.

Director Greenberg will be played by Lee Seok-jun, Ko Young-bin, Jung Won-jo, Jeong Sang-yoon, and Park Jeong-bok, while the head nurse Peterson will feature Jeong Jae-eun, Ko Soo-hee, Lee Hye-mi, and Lee Hyun-jin.

The performances will be divided into two teams running from November 22 until March 8, 2026. This 10th anniversary season is particularly anticipated due to the return of past cast members alongside new actors, promising deeper emotional lines and fresh synergy.
