Actor and singer Lee Junho is embarking on a global fan meeting tour thanks to the popularity of his drama 'Typhoon Family'.
Beginning in December, Junho will hold the 'Typhoon Family Drama Fan Meeting with Lee Junho' to connect with fans worldwide.
The event will be held in collaboration with Studio Dragon, and will take place in four cities: Tokyo on December 14; Taipei on December 27-28; Macau on January 17; and Bangkok on January 31. At each city, Lee Joon-ho will engage in behind-the-scenes drama talk, related games, fan participation missions, and a special stage.
According to the ratings agency Nielsen Korea, 'Typhoon Family' has recorded the highest ratings among tvN's Saturday-Sunday dramas since its first broadcast and continues to break its own highest ratings with each episode. It has also maintained its position at number one on Netflix in Korea right after its release, enjoying explosive popularity.
Upon the fan-meeting news being announced, netizens reacted with excitement: “A drama fan meeting — what a refreshing idea,” and “Now’s the time to row, the tide is in their favor.”
Meanwhile, tvN's 'Typhoon Family' airs every Saturday and Sunday at 9:10 PM.
