Singer Kwon Eun-bi opened up about the behind-the-scenes of the stage that turned her into the 'Water Bomb Goddess' and how her life has changed since then.

Recently, Kwon Eun-bi appeared as a guest on Jeong Jae-hyung's YouTube channel, sharing various stories.

Kwon Eun-bi stated, "Water Bomb was already such a big event. I really didn’t expect to get invited. I had almost never performed solo before. It was my first time performing in Seoul. Just singing for 3 minutes felt overwhelming, let alone needing to fill a 30-minute set. It was daunting," recalling her nerves at the time.

However, the Water Bomb stage changed Kwon Eun-bi's life completely. She commented, "At that moment, I just wanted to not make mistakes, not get hurt, and to show only what I had prepared. After Water Bomb ended, a lot of opportunities came my way. Ads and events started pouring in. I realized how much a person's life could change like that," she said with a smile. Indeed, after her performance at Water Bomb in 2023, Kwon Eun-bi has filmed over 10 commercials and remains active in her career.

Thanks to the Water Bomb stage, Kwon Eun-bi learned that "you never know when and where the response might come, as long as you prepare hard." She added, "During my time with IZ*ONE, I was recognized as part of a team, but solo Kwon Eun-bi wasn’t as well known. So, in the early days of my solo career, I took every opportunity. It was important for me that someone remembered me."

Moreover, Kwon Eun-bi reflected on her experiences through three debuts. She explained, "I started as a trainee with a major in dance, and my first debut was with the girl group Ye-Ah. The company faced difficulties, and we disbanded quickly, but I learned that ‘debut isn't the end, it's the beginning.’ After that, I debuted again with IZ*ONE through auditions, and in 2021, I made my third attempt as a solo artist. There was no room for getting hurt; I just kept persevering."

Rising as the 'Water Bomb Goddess', Kwon Eun-bi is also pursuing ventures as an entrepreneur. She has recently opened a café in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, garnering attention. Kwon Eun-bi shared, "It's been 6 months since I opened the café, and I'm grateful that many fans have come to visit me. If another opportunity like Water Bomb arises, I want to prepare with the same mindset I had then—to not make mistakes and show only the stage I have prepared."

Meanwhile, since 2023, Kwon Eun-bi has solidified her status as a unique summer icon by performing at Water Bomb every year.
