JTBC's upcoming drama 'Waiting for Longitude' has released stills that heighten anticipation ahead of its premiere.
Scheduled to air in December, 'Waiting for Longitude' tells the story of Lee Kyung-do (played by Park Seo-joon) and Seo Ji-woo (played by Won Ji-an), who after two relationships at the ages of 20 and 28, find themselves reconnecting as the reporter who broke the infidelity scandal and the wife of the scandal’s protagonist. They are expected to rediscover bittersweet love for each other.
In the drama, Lee Kyung-do is the deputy chief of the entertainment department at Dongwoon Ilbo, and his previously ordinary life suddenly shifts to the center of attention when he breaks a scandal involving a chaebol son-in-law and a celebrity. This leads to an unexpected reunion with his first love, marking a turning point in his quiet life. The chaebol’s son-in-law turned out to be none other than the husband of his first love. Lee Kyung-do is poised to face both thrilling excitement and cold heartbreak.
On the 28th, the 'Introduction Document' penned by Lee Kyung-do's ex-lover, who is also the wife of the scandal’s protagonist, was made public, raising curiosity about his complex romantic history. She notably refers to him as a 'noble,' sparking intrigue about her reasons behind this label. Attention is drawn to what choice Lee Kyung-do will make in their third meeting.
