Actor Jo Jung-suk shared his honest view that he cannot live even a single day like his wife Gummy, eliciting laughter from guests.
On the 29th, Jo Jung-suk appeared on the web entertainment show 'Secret Guarantee' and shared various stories.
When asked, "If you could live as someone else for just one day, whose life would you like to experience?", Gummy had previously expressed the desire to live like Jo Jung-suk, saying, "My husband lives doing what he wants," which sparked attention. In response, Jo Jung-suk drew a line, stating, "I can't possibly live like Gummy."
Regarding the reason, Jo Jung-suk explained, "My wife is really diligent. Her MBTI type is ISFJ, and she has a style of sharing her time and being generous with others." He added, "We differ by just one letter (P), but our tendencies are quite different. I imagined living like Gummy for a day, but I’m not confident I could do it." He continued, "I just like being myself. Living as myself is the most comfortable."
In response to Jo Jung-suk's remarks, Kim Sook said, "I also don't really want to live like someone else. I already live my life the way I want," demonstrating strong agreement. On the other hand, Song Eun-i expressed, "I am very curious, so I would like to experience anyone else's life for a day. I sometimes think it would be nice to sing like Gummy."
As the conversation shifted to singing, Jo Jung-suk reminisced about his dating days with Gummy. He said, "Before we got married, we often went to karaoke just the two of us. It was almost like a concert. Thanks to that, I enjoyed a lot of great music," but he lamented, "These days, it feels like we don’t have such time anymore due to being busy and the arrival of our child."
Jo Jung-suk also mentioned, "Since our daughter was born, when Gummy sings, she cries. I don’t cry; I just listen." He humorously added, "My wife sings children’s songs plainly, but I guess I have a lot of vibrato when I sing."
At the end of the segment, Jo Jung-suk proudly stated, "Mrs. King Gummy (mother-in-law) has incredible singing skills," showcasing that Gummy's talent is inherited.
Meanwhile, Jo Jung-suk and Gummy got married in 2018. They welcomed their first daughter in 2020, and Gummy is currently pregnant with their second child.
