The girl group Blackpink is rumored to return next year.

On the 6th, their agency YG Entertainment stated through multiple media outlets regarding the speculation of Blackpink's January comeback, "The album is in the final stages to enhance its musical completeness," and added, "As soon as we finish preparations, we will deliver good news through official promotions."

Previously, the timing of Blackpink's comeback was reported to be likely in mid-December; however, YG Entertainment refrained from providing a specific schedule. Nonetheless, the news that they have filmed a music video for their new song has raised fans' expectations.

If Blackpink does return with a new album in January, it will mark their first album release in about four years since their second studio album in 2022. This comeback is expected to be significant as it coincides with the 10th anniversary of Blackpink, who debuted in 2016.

Meanwhile, Blackpink has been actively promoting since the release of their single 'Jump' in July, continuing their world tour and other activities.
