Park Yoochun, the singer and actor from the group TVXQ and JYJ, has drawn attention in Japan with a noticeably transformed appearance that reflects the passage of time.
Recently, his official SNS posted behind-the-scenes cuts from a pictorial shoot.
In the released photos, Park Yoochun is seen wearing a white lace shirt paired with a black jacket, looking serious as he participates in the shoot. His focus is evident as he checks the images on a laptop screen.
However, what stands out the most is Park Yoochun's significantly changed looks. Transforming into a blonde, he now sports thinning hair, a wider forehead, and a much slimmer face, presenting a different image than before.
Park Yoochun halted his domestic activities after being sentenced to 10 months in prison and 2 years of probation for drug charges in 2019. Although he initially announced his retirement, he reversed that decision and continued his activities as a solo artist in Japan. He has made his comeback to the stage by releasing a new EP titled 'Metro Love' and is engaging with local fans through pictorial shoots and fan events.
Now 39 years old, born in 1986, Park Yoochun lost a legal battle against his former agency, resulting in a court ruling to pay approximately 500 million KRW in damages. Despite the ongoing legal disputes and controversies, he continues to pursue activities abroad. Park Yoochun is set to appear in a three-part romantic comedy drama titled 'A Greedy Woman and a Man with a Story' (欲しがり女子と訳あり男子) airing on Tokyo MX Channel this December.
