T1 has achieved a remarkable feat by securing the first-ever “three-peat” — three consecutive championships — at the world’s largest esports event, the League of Legends (LoL) World Championship. The victory sparked a wave of celebration from celebrities across the entertainment industry.

On the 9th, T1 defeated KT Rolster 3–2 in the finals held at the Dong’an Lake Sports Park Multi-Purpose Gymnasium in Chengdu, China. This win marked T1’s historic three-peat, with Faker (Lee Sang-hyeok) claiming his sixth championship trophy.

After the match, Lee Sang-hyeok reflected, “Today was not just about winning or losing; the most significant aspect was that the whole team enjoyed and focused on the game.” He added, “While it briefly reminded me of 2017, I could now focus more on the game rather than just winning or losing,” highlighting his personal growth.

The celebration continued online, with actress Park Bo-young posting a congratulatory photo on Instagram and Stray Kids’ Felix sharing his excitement: “Congrats on T1’s three-peat!”

Other celebrity fans also joined in, including I.N from Fromis_9 and Seo Ji-soo from Lovelyz, who expressed their joy over T1’s victory — proving that the team’s success resonates far beyond the esports world.
