Actress Jung Si-ya shed tears while expressing her feelings of guilt and gratitude toward her husband, actor Baek Do-bin.

In the JTBC entertainment program Openly Living Apart, which aired on the 18th, the couples Baek Do-bin and Jung Si-ya, along with Hong Hyun-hee and Jay Seon, were depicted living together and observing each other's daily lives.

During the broadcast, Baek Do-bin revealed that he has adjusted his life to focus most of his time on his children and family. He stated, "At first, it was hard for me too, but now it has become natural," adding, "It is right to do my best to let the kids make their own choices within a set period of time." He shared his thoughts on putting his acting career on hold, saying, "It is true that I gave up my career and my time; but the time spent with my children is of greater value," and emphasized, "If I have to choose between work and family, I'll choose family."

Jung Si-ya could not hide her guilt while listening to her husband. She confessed, "I also had many job offers, but my husband rejected them, putting family first. I didn't know that it wasn't obvious, and I feel sorry for that."

Realizing many unknown aspects about her husband during their first trip alone together after getting married, Jung Si-ya said, "He never said it was hard. He always did what I asked, so I thought he was just that kind of person. I wonder why I didn't notice his loneliness and struggles that even strangers can feel in just a day." She burst into tears as she spoke.

In a later interview, Jung Si-ya reflected, "He is such a precious person, but I unconsciously took him for granted," and added, "I have tried hard to be a good mother, but I thought about how much effort I have put into being a good wife. This made me emotional."

Baek Do-bin responded to his wife's tears with a smile, saying, "I'm not good at expressing such things, but I'm grateful that you think of me like this."

Meanwhile, Jung Si-ya and Baek Do-bin tied the knot in 2009 and have one son and one daughter together.
