Tae-hun from the boy band ZE:A has taken up driving a taxi, candidly sharing his realistic daily life and inner thoughts.
Recently, a video documenting Tae-hun's night taxi driving sessions was posted on his YouTube channel.
Tae-hun began his 12-hour shift by packing kimbap and an energy bar at 6 PM, stating, "Today's goal is 300,000 won". He conversed cheerfully with foreign passengers and greeted a guest who recognized him with a smile, saying, "You're the first to recognize me today." Reflecting on his idol days, he shared, "The struggles are the same in showbiz and regular jobs," communicating with passengers with a straightforward attitude.
However, the calm atmosphere didn't last long. The situation took a turn for the worse when two inebriated passengers entered the taxi, making Tae-hun uncomfortable with their casual language and changing their destination, proving challenging to control. After they got out, the car's alarm went off, prompting Tae-hun to sigh deeply, saying, "I was really hurt because of those customers just now." Nevertheless, he maintained his resolve, stating, "Such experiences will help me grow further."
Tae-hun also opened up about his personal struggles. When asked why he wasn't married, he honestly replied, "I don't have the time to date right now." To the question, "Is it because you're an idol?" he responded with a laugh, "I'm no longer an idol, I'm an uncle now. Fans call me 'uncle' when they see me." He added playfully, "Kwanghee is busy, Park Hyung-sik is doing well, and I think I'm next. Please support me!"
Tae-hun's diligent image, driving around the city at night picking up passengers, portrayed another chapter of youth trying to carve out a path for themselves, away from the spotlight.
Meanwhile, Tae-hun debuted as a main rapper of ZE:A in 2010 and gained public love.
