Actor Park Si-hoo has reiterated his firm stance regarding the affair rumors surrounding him.
On the 21st, Park Si-hoo's legal representative, the law firm Hyemyeong, stated in an official position, "We filed a complaint in August against the parties who created and distributed malicious false posts, and investigations are currently underway."
The problematic post was made by influencer A, which claims that Park Si-hoo was involved in introducing a woman to a married man, resulting in the destruction of a family. In response, Park Si-hoo's side firmly stated, "This is entirely untrue and is a baseless fabrication."
According to the legal representatives, the incident began when A illegally entered her ex-husband's home and took his cellphone, subsequently editing and distorting the conversations and photo files inside and spreading them on social media. Park Si-hoo's team strongly refuted this, stating it is a clear falsehood based on distorted information.
A's ex-husband has also filed a defamation lawsuit against her, stating that the claims are not true, and the police have recently recognized her charges and sent the case to the prosecution. Park Si-hoo's side emphasized, "The distorted claims against the ex-husband and those against Park Si-hoo are based on the same context and material," adding, "As the case against A's ex-husband is acknowledged, the defamation case against Park Si-hoo will also reveal evidence of wrongdoing."
Meanwhile, aside from addressing the rumors, Park Si-hoo is set to return to the big screen through the movie The Divine Move on December 31, marking his return after nearly ten years.
