Actor Jang Hyun-sung will step in to narrate the Internal armed conflict documentary, replacing Cho Jin-woong.

SBS announced that Jang Hyun-sung will serve as the narrator for parts 3 and 4 of the special documentary Internal armed conflict, airing on the 14th. The program consists of four episodes; part 3, titled 'MZ Gangs and the Ecosystem of Evil', spotlights the efforts of domestic and international agencies tracking so-called 'MZ gangs'—new-generation crime syndicates—on the front line of transnational crime.

Previously, Cho Jin-woong, who had been narrating Internal armed conflict, announced his retirement amid renewed controversy over his past, including a juvenile criminal record. In response, the production fully replaced the narration. Parts 1 and 2—'Cocaine and the Pacific Cartel' and 'Big Boss and the Dealmakers'—were re-recorded with a voice actor.

Meanwhile, parts 3 and 4 dig into hybrid crime organizations led largely by people in their 20s and 30s, dubbed 'MZ gangs'. The episodes deliver chase-style reportage of cross-border crime rings—and the people who refuse to stop pursuing them.
