EXO member and solo artist Baekhyun is pursuing legal action over the spread of false information and malicious posts.
On December 18, agency INB100 revealed the status of its ongoing legal response. The agency stated, “Based on materials we collected through our own monitoring and tips submitted by fans, we have filed formal complaints with investigative authorities,” adding, “These cases involve multiple criminal charges, including defamation, insult, and violations of the anti-stalking law. Some have already received meaningful legal rulings, and the remaining cases are proceeding strictly according to due process.”
According to the agency, a case filed with the Gwangjin Police Station in Seoul in April 2025 resulted in a fine. Cases submitted to the Gangnam Police Station and the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency’s Cyber Investigation Unit in May and September 2025 are currently under investigation.
INB100 emphasized, “Although complaints and investigations can take time, we will continue to share significant updates with fans as swiftly as possible,” and added, “Regardless of whether a complaint is filed, our internal monitoring runs continuously, and fan reports will continue to be reviewed and used as evidence for legal action.”
Meanwhile, Baekhyun is set to hold a three-day solo encore concert, Reverie dot, at Seoul’s KSPO Dome from January 2 to 4, 2026.
