On the 20th at The Shilla Hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul, as actors Shin Min-a and Kim Woo-bin tied the knot, photos and videos of Do Kyung-soo stepping out of a car and heading into the venue spread rapidly across online communities. Earlier, Do Kyung-soo had shared that he likely couldn't attend as a guest or sing the congratulatory song because the 2025 Melon Music Awards (MMA 2025) at Gocheok Sky Dome fell on the same day and time. He even appeared first on the red carpet with EXO, making his absence seem all but certain.
However, around 6:15 p.m., Do Kyung-soo briefly dropped by The Shilla, greeting the bride and groom. Dressed in a black padded jacket, he reportedly stayed for about 15 minutes before heading back to Gocheok Sky Dome. Even with a packed schedule shuttling between the awards and the ceremony, he refused to miss his best friend's life moment.
In a previous interview, he revealed, "I was originally supposed to sing the congratulatory song and planned to perform 'Popcorn'," adding, "I was really disappointed when the schedules overlapped."
Actor Lee Kwang-soo, a longtime friend of Kim Woo-bin, hosted the ceremony. After 10 years of dating, the couple held a private wedding attended only by family and close acquaintances, and Do Kyung-soo's surprise visit elevated the celebratory mood even more.
