Singer-actor Lee Junho is back — this time as a refreshingly realistic superhero — in Netflix’s new series Cashero, which premieres December 26.
Ahead of the release, newly revealed stills featuring Lee Junho, Kim Hyang-gi, and the main cast sent anticipation soaring.
Lee plays Sang-ung, an ordinary civil servant weighed down by wedding costs and housing prices. His unexpected superpower? Physical strength that increases in direct proportion to the cash he’s holding — with the brutal catch that the more he fights, the faster his money disappears.
Known for delivering emotionally grounded performances, Lee is expected to portray Sang-ung’s internal conflict with nuance, balancing heroism with harsh 현실 (reality).
Fresh off his acclaimed role in Taepungsangsa, Lee continues an impressive streak that includes The Red Sleeve and King the Land. He also swept four trophies at the Asia Artist Awards 2025, reinforcing his status as a “trust-and-watch” star.
Lee Junho will meet fans again at his sold-out fan meetings on January 24–25, 2026, with all eyes now on what kind of hero he’ll unveil next in Cashero.
