Actor Seo Kang-joon delivered an emotional moment as he took home the Grand Prize at the 2025 MBC Drama Awards.
On December 30, during the live broadcast of the ceremony, Seo Kang-joon received the night’s highest honor. Taking the stage, he said, “More than joy, I’m honestly very flustered and surprised,” before adding, “Even so, I want to express my gratitude first.”
He continued, “My sincere thanks go to the producers and staff who believed in me and planned this project,” and added appreciation for his agency, calling its CEO and staff “my most precious friends in life and my best business partners.” He also thanked his co-stars Jin Ki-joo, Kim Shin-rok, and Jeon Bae-soo, before concluding, “To my family—Mom and Dad—please always stay healthy. I love you.”
Undercover High School marked Seo Kang-joon’s first drama since completing his military service. The series wrapped on March 29 and ultimately led him to the Grand Prize.
