Entertainment company BY4M Studio is accelerating its expansion into actor management with the acquisition of AM Entertainment.
On December 31, BY4M officially announced that it had acquired AM Entertainment, home to top-tier actors including Shin Min-a, Kim Woo-bin, and Ahn Bo-hyun.
The acquisition marks a major step in BY4M’s strategy to build an IP-driven, all-in-one entertainment ecosystem. Having already expanded across music, film, drama, live performances, commerce, publishing, and food and beverage ventures, BY4M has now integrated artist management into its value chain.
BY4M stated that AM Entertainment’s existing management philosophy and actor-first approach will remain intact, while gradually linking its artists to BY4M’s content production, branding, and marketing infrastructure.
Earlier this year, BY4M launched a label dedicated to nurturing rookie actors. With the addition of AM’s A-list roster, the company now operates a full-spectrum management system spanning newcomers to established stars.
The company plans to pursue a One Source Multi Use strategy centered on actor intellectual property, strengthening collaborations with global OTT platforms and overseas studios while developing diversified revenue models tied to advertising and fandom-based management.
BY4M has recently gained attention in film distribution with titles such as Firefighter, Hitman 2, The Match, and Noise, earning recognition for its data-driven and digital marketing-focused approach.
BY4M commented that the acquisition is a long-term strategic decision aimed at enhancing content competitiveness while prioritizing each artist’s individuality and career stability.
