Comedian Min-soo Kim left a flirtatious "let's go on a date" message for chef Seohyeon Kim — nicknamed the "Baby Beast" on Netflix variety show Culinary Class Wars Season 2 — and viewers are calling him out for it online.
On January 11, the YouTube show Psick Show on the Psick Univ channel featured chef Sung-joon Kwon, winner of Culinary Class Wars Season 1. Since his win, Kwon has been actively appearing on broadcasts like JTBC's Please Take Care of My Refrigerator and various web shows.
During the episode, Min-soo Kim asked Kwon if he knew the "Baby Beast." When Kwon dodged the question, Kim raised his voice, saying, "Why not?" Co-host Jae-hyung Jung clarified, "He's just asking if you know her," and Kwon replied, "I know the 'Baby Beast,' but not personally."
Kim pressed further, asking if Kwon had the "Baby Beast's" contact information. Kwon laughed it off. When Yong-joo Lee reacted, "Huh?" in disbelief, Kwon added, "The 'Baby Beast' was born in 2000." Kim shot back, "So what?" Lee noted, "You're nine years apart," but Kim brushed it off: "What's the problem?"
Prompted to send a message to the "Baby Beast," Kim said, "Hello, 'Baby Beast.' I'm the big beast, the adult beast. Roar," openly expressing interest. He added, "I like you. Let's go on a date sometime. I want to ask you out."
However, some viewers criticized Kim's remarks, leaving comments like, "What is he doing?", "Everyone—Yong-joo Lee, Jae-hyung Jung, and Sung-joon Kwon—refused to engage, but he kept going," "No social awareness," and "Still so rude," showing clear discomfort at his behavior.
Meanwhile, the "Baby Beast" drew immediate public attention on Culinary Class Wars Season 2 for her cute visuals. She even ranked No. 1 on Good Data Corporation's TV-OTT Non-Drama Performer Keyword TOP10 for the third week of December 2025.
