In a shocking turn, former MBLAQ member Mir shaved his head less than ten days after his wedding, trading newlywed sweetness for what he called "scalp freedom." His family's reactions swung between laughter and disbelief.

On the 13th, YouTube channel Bangane uploaded a video of Mir going through with the buzz cut. Filmed barely ten days after his ceremony, his sudden announcement instantly stirred up the household.

Go Eun-ah said, "Mir suddenly said he was going to shave his head," looking amused, while their mother worried, "Why shave a perfectly fine head of hair?" In the midst of it all, Mir's bride calmly accepted his choice with a simple, "It's fine," and watched quietly.

Explaining the reason, Mir said, "Around this time, my scalp gets really sensitive. It heats up and hurts," adding, "I'm shaving so my scalp can breathe." But instead of the planned 0.8 mm, it ended up much shorter than expected. Mir burst into laughter, admitting, "I'm the one who's most flustered. It got cut weird, and I'm so embarrassed."

The haircut quickly turned into a "family participation event." Go Eun-ah first grabbed the clippers and shaved part of Mir's hair, then handed them over, saying, "The bride should finish it." As the bride's smile slowly faded while she trimmed, the room filled with nervous laughter and playful teasing. Seeing Mir's bright red scalp, she gasped, "Your scalp is so red," and Mir doubled down: "That's why I'm letting it breathe."

Surprisingly, the post-shave reactions were warm. Go Eun-ah kept saying it looked "cute," and the bride agreed, saying, "Doesn't it look fine?" In the video description, Mir added that it has "grown out to about a kiwi now," and he's also undergoing scalp treatment.

Meanwhile, Mir tied the knot last month in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, with a non-celebrity who is one year older.
