One match a week—only one survives. A ruthless, no-politics, no-alliance mind game is landing on Netflix.

Premiering on the 28th, Netflix's daily variety show Death Game: Bet 10 Million Won is a brand-new "brain + brawn" survival format where a single 1v1 face-off decides everything. Each week's sudden-death duel sends only the winner to the next stage, while the loser is immediately eliminated. To survive, you need just one thing: your brain.

Directed by PD Kwon Dae-hyun—lauded for his stylish touch on Try? Choo-ry!—and produced by Kim Tae-ho's studio TEO, the show strips away the usual political scheming and alliances that define brain game series. Instead, it doubles down on a simple yet brutal structure: a 1v1 death match every episode to maximize intensity.

The games span strategy, betting, memorization, and deduction with high-difficulty missions. Winners secure KRW 10 million and advance to the next round, with prize money stacking with each consecutive win. The last contender to hit five straight wins claims the title of 'Death Game Master' and stands alone at the top.

The lineup is stacked. Go legend Lee Sedol—the only human to defeat AlphaGo—faces off alongside 'The Genius' inaugural champion and pro poker player Hong Jin-ho; Mensa member Yurisa of 'Game of Blood' fame; and pro poker player-producer SevenHigh, who made a splash on 'The Devil's Plan: Death Room'.

They're joined by top-tier travel YouTuber Pani Bottle; 'Culinary Class Wars' winner Napoli Mafia (Chef Kwon Seong-jun); actor Park Sung-woong; and even the youngest challenger, penguin character Pengsoo—forming a cross-discipline 'Brain Avengers' squad.

The first teaser, released on the 14th, showcases bold declarations. "I'm confident in 1v1," says Lee Sedol; Hong Jin-ho looks relaxed; Yurisa and SevenHigh stare unflinchingly; Pengsoo boasts, "I'm more than confident"; Napoli Mafia declares, "Survival is my specialty"; and Park Sung-woong dominates the room with a single line—amping up the tension for these all-or-nothing duels.

The commentary team is just as unexpected. Esports caster Park Sang-hyun teams up with comedian Jang Dong-min—who boasts wins on both 'The Genius' and 'Game of Blood'—to deliver play-by-play and strategy breakdowns like a sports broadcast. It's not just spectating; it's a "decoded survival" experience.

No politics, pure sudden death, and egos on the line—Death Game: Bet 10 Million Won drops Episodes 1 and 2 on Netflix at 5 p.m. KST on the 28th, followed by one episode every Wednesday at 5 p.m. KST.
