'Heartman' stars Kwon Sang-woo and Moon Chae-won revealed the surprising backstory behind their many kiss scenes, sharing candid on-set moments that are already stirring buzz.
On the January 19 episode of the web variety show Zzanbro, Kwon Sang-woo, Moon Chae-won, and P.O appeared to promote the film and deliver unfiltered talk.
When comedian Jung Ho-cheol asked, "Are there a lot of kiss scenes in the movie?" Kwon answered without hesitation, "A lot. Seriously, a lot," recalling the shoot. He added, "During our meeting, the director worried, 'There are so many kiss scenes—what if your co-star feels uncomfortable?'" revealing there had been concerns beforehand.
But once filming began, Moon was far more confident than expected. "The moment we heard 'Action,' Chae-won immersed herself so naturally. Right then I thought, 'We're going to be fine,'" Kwon said with a laugh. He then joked, "Be honest—wasn't it fun?" sending the set into laughter.
Moon coolly shot back, "Sunbae, I think you might be a little tipsy right now," and Kwon played along, saying, "Editing will take care of this. I'm a bit lightheaded myself," keeping the playful mood going.
Meanwhile, Heartman is a comedy film about Seung-min (played by Kwon Sang-woo), who reunites with his first love, Bona (played by Moon Chae-won), and does everything he can not to lose her again.
