Actor Kwon Sang-woo personally apologized for getting drunk on a web variety show.
The recently released web show Zzanbro featured Kwon Sang-woo, Moon Chae-won, and P.O as guests to mark the release of the film Heartman: Rock and Love. Matching the concept of drinking and talking frankly, the cast clinked glasses to set the mood, but Kwon, known for his low alcohol tolerance, appeared to get tipsy faster than expected, grabbing viewers' attention.
In the video, with his face flushed, Kwon repeatedly made finger hearts while saying, "Heartman: Rock and Love is truly all heart!" and emphasized his love for the project. As the buzz kicked in, he playfully swore and put his arm around P.O, saying, "Why are you so cute?", and Moon Chae-won was seen calming him down several times, saying, "You can take it slow."
When Kwon said, "I didn't think I'd get this drunk," Shin Dong-yup eased the mood with a joke: "The moment you downed those shots, I figured the footage would turn out great." Kwon laughed it off with, "Please edit me well," but some viewers commented that "the completely drunk state felt a bit uncomfortable."
In response, Kwon posted a direct apology in the video's comments. "I honestly got way too drunk. I'm sorry to those who felt uncomfortable," he wrote. "I got greedy about promoting the film and chugged even though I have a low tolerance. I'm staying off alcohol now." The production team pinned his comment to the top to address the situation, and supportive messages followed, saying his "sincere apology actually made him more likable."
