Comedian Yeom Kyung-hwan sparks a studio frenzy as he spills the behind-the-scenes story of how his close friend Ji Sang-ryeol and home shopping host Shin Bo-ram started dating — and why he felt shock and betrayal.

The MBC variety show Radio Star, airing on the 21st, features Lee Geum-hee, Yeom Kyung-hwan, Goo Hye-sun, and Jeon Min-gi for the special '2026 Words, Words, Words: Say It as You Speak!'. On the show, Yeom candidly opens up about everything from the reality behind his 'sell-out king' reputation in home shopping to his unconventional family life, showing off his sharp wit.

Addressing the 'two families under one roof' arrangement he has maintained in recent years, Yeom says, "Living apart from my wife actually makes us cherish each other more," sharing everyday episodes with a humorous touch. He also reveals the little hardships and laugh-out-loud moments of living with his father-in-law, sending the set into fits of laughter.

He gets real about money, too. Contrary to public belief, he says, "I don't earn as much as people think," adding, "To keep trust, I kept my home shopping appearance fee the same for 10 years." The cast can't hide their surprise at the 'sell-out king's' unexpected frugality and principles.

They also revisit the 'legendary sales moment' when he broke into a cold sweat after eating chicken feet during a live home shopping broadcast. The behind-the-scenes story reveals how a live-on-air crisis — where even a second of silence is forbidden — turned into a massive sales boom, drawing huge laughs.

Yeom then confesses his honest disappointment when news of Ji Sang-ryeol and Shin Bo-ram's relationship broke. "Shin Bo-ram is like a real younger sister to me, and the two people I set up ended up dating in secret," he says, admitting to a hilariously painful sense of betrayal. Bestie Kim Gu-ra stirs the pot even more by hinting, "There's a backstory Yeom Kyung-hwan doesn't know," heating up the studio atmosphere.

The episode airs on the 21st at 10:30 p.m.
