Actress Seo Min-jung checked in from New York, sharing a warm New Year message with fans.
On the 22nd, Seo Min-jung posted several photos on Instagram, writing, "Before I knew it, January is already halfway over, and I didn't even get to say goodbye to last year or hello to the new one." She added, "It's late, but I hope everyone reading this has a very happy new year." The post is filled with moments from her life in New York.
She also talked about New York's harsh winter. "This winter in New York feels especially cold. The sun sets so early that the house gets dim by 4 p.m.," she wrote. She continued, "It's so cold that Ginger (my dog) burrows into my arms like a kangaroo," sharing photos taken on a snowy day. In the photos, Seo Min-jung drew attention with a youthful beauty that belies her mid-40s and her signature bright smile.
She added that she caught a Broadway show. "There were so many people out on Broadway," she said, expressing how moved she was: "The singing and acting from the performers on stage were incredible."
Seo Min-jung revealed she hasn't been able to visit Korea for three years, expressing how much she misses home. "I really miss Korea's winter air. Even from afar, I'm praying that everyone stays warm and healthy this winter," she said.
Seo Min-jung began her career as a VJ in 2000 and rose to major fame with the 2007 MBC sitcom High Kick!. She later married a Korean-American dentist and relocated to the United States, where she now lives.
