Trending chef Son Jong-won is opening up his personal refrigerator for the very first time on JTBC’s Please Take Care of My Refrigerator.
The February 1 broadcast features a special “Chef Party” theme, with Son Jong-won and Kim Poong appearing as co-owners of the showcased fridges, immediately raising viewers’ curiosity.
The episode also includes the 2026 Please Take Care of My Refrigerator Awards, celebrating a remarkable year for the show’s chefs. Swapping their signature chef coats for red-carpet-worthy suits, the cast sets a festive tone from the start. When hosts Kim Sung-joo and Ahn Jung-hwan joke, “It’s not even awards season,” Choi Hyun-seok fires back, “If you go by the lunar calendar, it’s year-end,” drawing laughter across the studio.
Three award categories are presented: Best Couple, Best Performance, and Best Dish. In particular, Jung Ho-young and Park Eun-young go head-to-head for the Performance Award, turning the studio upside down with an unexpected dance battle.
