BTS will unveil their long-awaited comeback stage through a global livestream event set in the heart of Seoul.

On the 3rd, BIGHIT MUSIC announced that BTS will hold BTS Comeback Live: Arirang at 8 p.m. KST on March 21 at Gwanghwamun Square to mark the release of their fifth full-length album.

This will be the group’s first time premiering their title track and new songs on a stage set at Gwanghwamun Square, one of Korea’s most symbolic public spaces. Located in central Seoul, the venue is expected to underscore a new chapter for BTS as they reconnect with their roots.

BIGHIT MUSIC explained, “The new album Arirang captures BTS’s starting point, identity, and the emotions they wish to share at this moment. Given the cultural symbolism of Arirang, we wanted the first stage to take place in a location that represents Korea.”

The performance will be livestreamed worldwide via Netflix across approximately 190 countries and regions, marking the first time a major Korea-based event is broadcast live globally on the platform. In addition, the documentary film BTS: THE RETURN, which chronicles the album’s production process, will premiere on Netflix on March 27.

Meanwhile, BTS’s fifth studio album Arirang will be released at 1 p.m. KST on March 20. The album features 14 tracks exploring themes such as identity, longing, and enduring love.
