From its very first episode, Wi Ha-jun and Park Min-young went head-to-head in a razor-sharp standoff, launching tvN’s Monday-Tuesday drama 'Siren' with a gripping mystery and a debut that topped its time slot.

In Episode 1 of tvN’s Monday-Tuesday drama Siren, which aired on the 2nd, insurance investigator Cha Woo-seok (Wi Ha-jun) follows a mysterious fatal fall at Royal Auction to track the truth surrounding auctioneer Han Seol-a (Park Min-young). According to Nielsen Korea, the broadcast posted an average rating of 5.5% and a peak of 7.2% in both the Seoul capital area and nationwide, taking No. 1 among cable and general programming channels in its time slot.

Cha Woo-seok heads to Royal Auction after receiving a call from someone claiming to report an insurance fraud suspect, but tipster Kim Yun-ji (Lee Elijah) is found dead after a rooftop fall, pulling him into the case. Believing her death is tied to the insurance fraud tip, he dives into the investigation and confirms that Kim Yun-ji had clashed with Han Seol-a while she was alive and had been uncooperative during inquiries.

Suspicions deepen as a massive life insurance policy naming Han Seol-a as the beneficiary and the death of Yoon Seung-jae (Ha Seok-jin) become entangled. When Cha Woo-seok mentions Yoon Seung-jae’s name, Han Seol-a visibly falters, and footage showing her standing on the rooftop at the time of Kim Yun-ji’s fall raises the possibility of homicide.

Meanwhile, with its brisk pacing, distinctive mise-en-scène featuring fine art pieces, and tightly wound performances, Siren airs every Monday and Tuesday at 8:50 p.m.
