Actor Ha Ji-won is set to shock fans with a bold transformation in her first-ever solo web variety show.
Premiering on March 19, JTBC Digital Studio’s web variety 26-hakbeon Jiwon-iyo follows Ha Ji-won as she becomes a Class of 2026 freshman to experience real campus life. A graduate of Dankook University’s Department of Theater and Film, Ha returns to school as a first-year to navigate the highs and lows of college in this concept-driven series.
After earning recognition for her acting with wins at major award shows like the Baeksang Arts Awards and the Blue Dragon Film Awards, Ha now meets viewers in a fresh role: a college student.
Filming kicked off at an actual university entrance ceremony. Ha personally attended a recent matriculation event to shoot on site, and thanks to her youthful looks, insiders say she blended in naturally among the freshmen.
The show will reveal her taking on course registration, attending lectures, hands-on practicums, and even club activities and "gwating"—group blind dates between student clubs—mirroring the full spectrum of campus culture. The producers teased, "Viewers will see Ha Ji-won’s easygoing yet all-in charm," adding, "Her chemistry with the Gen-Z Class of ’26 and her personal, healthy beauty tips will be must-watch highlights."
Meanwhile, Ha is also preparing to return to her main craft. In ENA’s drama climax, she is set to come back after about four years, playing top star Chu Sang-ah, a character brimming with ambition.
