ENHYPEN has spoken up after member Heeseung’s decision to go solo made headlines.
On March 11 (KST), the group posted on their official social media, saying, “You were probably very shocked by today’s notice. We first worried about how ENGENE (our official fandom) would feel. Because ENHYPEN exists for ENGENE, seeing ENGENE worried and struggling is the greatest pain for us.”
Addressing Heeseung’s departure, they added, “The time we spent together is immeasurably precious. That’s why we respect and support Heeseung’s choice and his new beginning.”
ENHYPEN continued, “To always remain a confident and proud ENHYPEN for our precious ENGENE who support us anywhere and everywhere, we will become stronger and never forget our gratitude in every moment.”
Previously, BELIFT LAB officially announced on March 10 that Heeseung would leave the team. Heeseung will continue as a solo artist under the same label, independent from ENHYPEN’s group activities.
Meanwhile, ENHYPEN plans to carry out all official schedules as a six-member group going forward.
