Singer Sung Si-kyung will lead the new season of KBS’s late-night music talk show The Seasons.
On the 11th, KBS announced, "The ninth season of KBS2’s music talk show The Seasons will premiere on March 27 under the title The Seasons: Sung Si-kyung’s GOMAK NAMCHIN." Following 10CM, Sung Si-kyung has been tapped as host, and his signature moniker 'gomak namchin' is reflected in the title.
Sung Si-kyung is an artist beloved for his one-of-a-kind tone and heartfelt emotion. On this program, he’s set to emcee, drawing on his deep musical experience, stage savvy, and the witty banter he’s shown across numerous shows.
In particular, the original 'gomak namchin' himself will introduce new 'gomak namchin' and 'gomak yeochin' artists every Friday night—vocalists adored for their soothing, romance-coded voices—promising stages where music and candid talk blend seamlessly.
The Seasons is the first KBS2 late-night music talk show to adopt a seasonal rotating MC system. Since 2023, a diverse lineup of artists—Jay Park, Jannabi’s Choi Jung-hoon, AKMU, Lee Hyori, Zico, Lee Young Ji, Park Bo-gum, and 10CM—have taken turns as MCs and led the program.
Meanwhile, The Seasons: Sung Si-kyung’s GOMAK NAMCHIN will premiere on the 27th at 10 p.m.
