KeyEast, the agency known for representing actors Cha Seung-won and Kim Hee-ae, issued a stark warning about imposter audition schemes and urged the public to stay vigilant.

On the 11th, KeyEast posted a lengthy message on its official social media account, opening with, "Hello, this is KeyEast."

KeyEast explained, "We have received reports that individuals are impersonating our company or claiming to work with us to offer auditions and meetings to aspiring talents and their families. We do not conduct proxy auditions through external companies or third parties, and we have never designated a specific date or directed anyone to visit an unverified location."

They added, "If you receive similar offers, please exercise extreme caution. If you are contacted about auditions or casting in a way that seems to involve impersonation, please reach out to KeyEast via our official email. We will continue to monitor closely and respond firmly to any impersonation that infringes on the rights and interests of our artists and trainees. Thank you."

Fans reacted by saying, "Thank you for the warning. We’ll be careful," and, "There are so many impersonation cases. We’ll stay alert!"
