Shocking lede: Actor Oh Jung-se dives into the shaky psyche of a “successful” film director in JTBC’s new Sat–Sun drama ‘Mojamussa’ — short for ‘Everyone Is Battling Their Own Worthlessness’ (written by Park Hae-young, directed by Cha Young-hoon). Tackling the universal modern emotion of anxiety, the series follows a man who feels left behind among his overachieving friends, spiraling with jealousy as he fights to reclaim his inner peace.

In the drama, Oh plays Kyung-se, a director who has built a solid career after helming five feature films. When his latest movie, ‘Armless Second Sister,’ flops at the box office, inner turmoil erupts. Even a single line spoken or written by aspiring director Hwang Dong-man (played by Koo Kyo-hwan) triggers Kyung-se’s fury, laying bare his tangled, volatile mind.

Stills released on the 11th spotlight the perilous state lurking behind his success. He grabs the mic for a stage greeting with a faint smile, yet nervous energy peeks through. A cut of him sitting alone in front of a monitor, furiously grinding away, turns the tension up another notch.

The production team said, "Oh Jung-se captures the polished exterior of a successful director — and the inferiority complex raging inside — with chilling detail," adding, "His performance will deliver peak relatability to viewers."

Meanwhile, ‘Mojamussa’ is scheduled to premiere on Saturday, April 18 at 10:40 p.m. KST on JTBC.
