In a first since his debut, actor Yoo Yeon-seok is diving into comedy.
At the production presentation held on the 11th for SBS's Friday–Saturday drama Phantom Lawyer (hereafter 'Phantom Lawyer'), director Shin Joong-hoon, Yoo Yeon-seok, Esom, and Kim Kyung-nam were in attendance.
Explaining why he chose the project, Yoo said, "You could say this is my first time doing comedy. I've always tried to show a new side with each project, and when I read this script, I felt it would let me present a different persona every week, which was exciting."
He continued, "I filmed with the mindset that my career was on the line," sharing how he wrestled with pulling off a range of possession scenes. He added, "I let everything go and gave it my all while filming, so I'd appreciate it if you could watch with interest and affection."
Meanwhile, 'Phantom Lawyer' follows a lawyer who uses legal savvy to resolve the lingering grudges of the dead who seek him out. The series premieres on the 13th at 9:50 p.m.
