Actor Yoo Yeon-seok is just one day away from opening his law office.

On the 12th, SBS’s new Friday–Saturday drama Phantom Lawyer dropped behind-the-scenes stills from the set.

The photos capture Yoo’s intense dedication. Even while waiting to shoot, he keeps the script in hand, preparing meticulously, and after filming, he reviews takes on the monitor — his total immersion instantly grabs attention.

Blending courtroom drama with fantasy, the series begins when a law firm opens in what used to be a shaman’s house — and suddenly, ghosts come into view. Following Shin I-rang (played by Yoo Yeon-seok) as he cracks cases, the show promises laugh-out-loud comedy, intriguing mystery, and fist-pumping courtroom action all at once. In particular, the “possessed lawyer” who listens to the grievances of the dead and sets them free hints at the birth of a brand-new “involuntary hero.”

Meanwhile, Phantom Lawyer premieres Friday, the 13th, at 9:50 p.m. on SBS.
