After stepping away from LE SSERAFIM amid school-bullying allegations, Kim Garam has quietly opened a YouTube channel and kick-started her activities again — and the reaction was immediate and explosive.
On March 13, Kim launched her personal YouTube channel garamOnly (garamOnly) and uploaded her first vlog. In the video, she explains, "I wanted to document my acting practice and everyday life," laying out why she started the channel. The clip shows scenes from acting practice in a rehearsal room, studying at a university library, and playing the guitar — snapshots of an ordinary college student.
Within just two days, the channel surpassed 150,000 subscribers. As of 7 a.m. on the 16th, the first video's views hit 660,000.
Kim Garam debuted as a member of LE SSERAFIM in May 2022, but accusations that she had been involved in bullying during middle school sparked a firestorm. She halted activities only 18 days after debut, and in July of the same year, her exclusive contract was terminated and she left the team.
