Ijel has been announced as the third artist on the soundtrack for the film Everyday We Are, instantly drawing attention. The new OST track is set to drop on all music platforms at 6 p.m. on the 17th.
Content provider Hanteo Global stated on the 17th, "Following Shin Yong Jae and Song I Han, Ijel has joined the Everyday We Are OST as the third musician." The new song, 'To Be Honest,' captures the tender flutter of feelings that begin in the cold season, with Ijel’s clear, transparent tone expected to bring the song’s emotions vividly to life.
The track warmly paints the awkward yet candid emotions at the very moment love begins—like the suddenly light steps on the way to meet someone or a heart that speeds up for no reason. In particular, the smile-spreading vocal tone toward the finale deepens the track’s cozy mood while delicately mirroring the characters’ budding feelings in the film.
Meanwhile, the film Everyday We Are is a youth romance based on Gaedarae’s popular webtoon and is drawing major buzz. It is the late Kim Sae-ron’s final work and marks Lee Chae-min’s big-screen debut.
