MONSTA X’s Hyungwon and IVE’s Rei will serve as MCs for the first day of ASEA 2026.
The 3rd Asia Star Entertainer Awards 2026 (ASEA 2026) will be held on May 16–17 at Belluna Dome in Saitama, Japan. The organizing committee announced on the 17th that Hyungwon and Rei will host Day 1.
Following last year, Hyungwon and Rei will return as MCs for the second consecutive year.
After completing his military service last year, Hyungwon resumed activities with MONSTA X. The group made a comeback with the album ‘THE X,’ while Hyungwon also participated in music production.
Rei made her awards show MC debut at ASEA last year and has since expanded her activities across various fields, including brand partnerships.
Since its launch in 2024, ASEA has positioned itself as an awards show featuring artists with global influence. ASEA 2026 will include artists such as ATEEZ, &TEAM, ENHYPEN, H3art2H3art (Hearts2Hearts), and Xikers.
