Shocking moment at a yellow light: A driver stopped at an intersection and was rear-ended by the car behind, igniting a heated debate online.
On March 17, YouTube channel 'Han Moon-chul TV' posted a video titled "Episode 26688. I stopped for a yellow light at an intersection, and the car behind rear-ended me."
Dashcam footage shows the vehicle slowing to a stop after passing the stop line upon seeing the yellow light, when the trailing car plowed into it. In a viewer poll, most respondents backed a 100:0 verdict, saying the dashcam driver bore no fault. Although it might look like a sudden stop at first glance, the car clearly braked gradually, and many blamed the trailing driver’s inattention.
One netizen commented, "That was a truly terrifying split second. Thankfully, it seems there were no serious injuries." Another wrote, "This is a stark reminder of how crucial safe driving is at intersections."
