As their comeback nears, BTS has unveiled a snippet of their new title track 'SWIM'.
On the 18th, through their official social media accounts and YouTube channel, BTS released the music video teaser for 'SWIM', the title track from their fifth studio album 'ARIRANG'.
The clip includes a fragment of the melody, offering an early peek at the group's new sonic direction as they return after 3 years and 9 months.
The teaser opens with a woman rushing into a quiet museum. She stops in front of a large ship model, and as the lights shut off one by one, the model alone is caught in a spotlight — a striking image. The scene then shifts to a shimmering ocean before the word 'SWIM' rises on screen to close the teaser.
The music video is directed by Tanu Muino, who has previously worked with top artists including Post Malone, Doja Cat, and Dua Lipa.
'SWIM' is an upbeat alternative pop track that captures the determination to keep pushing forward through life's waves. Member RM participated in writing the lyrics, adding deeper meaning.
Meanwhile, BTS will hold 'BTS Comeback Live: ARIRANG' at Gwanghwamun Square at 8 p.m. on the 21st. On the 24th, they will meet local fans in New York through 'Spotify X BTS: SWIMSIDE', a collaboration with the global audio and music streaming platform Spotify.
