Irene of Red Velvet is set to unveil a deeper musical world and a wider spectrum with her first-ever solo studio album, ‘Biggest Fan.’
According to SM Entertainment on the 19th, the album drops on March 30 and packs a total of 10 tracks, including the title track of the same name.
Her first solo LP aims to captivate global listeners with a mix of uplifting messages and ethereal moods. In particular, ‘Don’t Wanna Get Up’ is an electro-pop rooted in house, with lyrics that paint a transcendent state unbound by any emotion, while ‘SPIT IT OUT’ is a hard-hitting pop dance track that encourages candid release of negative feelings, delivering a thrilling catharsis to listeners.
The tracklist also features ‘Best Believe,’ ‘Love Can Make A Way,’ and the retro-tinged ‘MTV My Timeless Video.’
Meanwhile, teaser images and a mood clip posted on Red Velvet’s official social media showcase Irene in a bright, cozy atmosphere—paired with a fun twist in the teaser that’s grabbing fans’ attention.
Irene’s first solo studio album, ‘Biggest Fan,’ is now available for pre-order at various online and offline retailers and will be officially released in physical format on the 30th.
