Actress Shim Eun-woo has shared a new life update, signaling unwavering determination to return to acting and taking on a fresh challenge.

Recently, through her YouTube channel, Shim revealed her preparation process for auditions for the play 'Yellow Moon.' Having appeared in the same work in the past, she said, "When I heard about a National Theater Company of Korea production, I wanted to try again." She admitted the prep was tough—from writing a personal statement to filming assigned lines—but also showed genuine excitement.

She celebrated passing the first round, but ultimately faced disappointment after being cut in the final audition. Shim said, "I was disappointed, but I think it's part of the path to a better opportunity," adding, "I'm grateful for the audition itself," keeping a positive outlook.

In another video, Shim opened up about inner changes. "Someone I once hated, I now find myself cheering for," she confessed, explaining she's letting go of the past to focus on the present and future.

During her hiatus, she worked as a yoga instructor and was seen in tears over the harsh reality of having few audition opportunities.

Shim halted activities in 2021 amid school bullying allegations. Although the case later concluded with no charges, the surrounding controversy remains divisive.
