Comedian Park Na-rae has been summoned again by police in connection with allegations involving her former managers and claims of illegal medical procedures.
On the 20th, the Seoul Gangnam Police Station called Park in as a suspect at around 1 p.m. for questioning. She faces a special injury charge related to allegations that she threw drinking glasses at a former manager. She is also accused of receiving medical procedures from an unlicensed provider.
According to reports, former managers filed complaints alleging verbal and physical mistreatment, as well as issues related to workplace conduct and expenses. Additional claims include defamation and violations of the Medical Service Act.
Two former managers reportedly submitted a complaint in December, stating that they experienced inappropriate treatment during their employment and were not reimbursed for certain work-related expenses.
Following a previous police appearance, Park stated that she had cooperated with the investigation and responded to questions. She also addressed some of the allegations, expressing regret for causing concern and stating that she would clarify disputed points.
The investigation is ongoing.
