Actors Park Hae-soo and Lee Hee-jun hint at a high-stakes alliance.
On the 20th, ENA’s Monday–Tuesday drama Scarecrow released its first teaser.
The teaser features Kang Tae-joo (played by Park Hae-soo) narrating, "Maybe it all started that day," dialing up the tension. A girl’s testimony—"There was a scarecrow"—ramps up the suspense even further.
Scarecrow spans three decades, from 1988 to 2019, following two men as they chase the truth. Park Hae-soo plays sharp-witted detective Kang Tae-joo, while Lee Hee-jun takes on cold-blooded prosecutor Cha Si-young.
After being demoted to his hometown of Gangsung, Kang Tae-joo hunts the real culprit behind a serial murder case and crosses paths with the assigned prosecutor, Cha Si-young. Both harbor a burning hatred for the killer, but for their own goals, they’re forced into a risky partnership. Eyeing a jump into politics, Cha throws everything into the investigation, continuing his uneasy cooperation with Kang.
Meanwhile, Scarecrow will premiere on April 20 at 10 p.m., and will also be available on KT Genie TV and TVING.
