Former SISTAR member Soyou got candid about the dramatic changes in her body and overall condition after losing around 20 kg (about 44 lbs).
On the 23rd, a new video on Soyou’s YouTube channel featured her trying out moxibustion and a sitz bath. In the video, Soyou spent time warming up her body while receiving moxibustion.
During the process, she opened up about the differences she noticed after her weight loss. "I used to run hot and barely turned on the boiler even in winter, but after losing weight, I think my constitution changed," she said. "These days I feel the cold a lot more." She added, "Medically, they say sleeping at an indoor temperature of about 18–19°C (64–66°F) helps with weight management."
A self-proclaimed wellness enthusiast, Soyou also shared her routine in Bali. "After working out, I use both wet and dry saunas and the pool. I get into an ice bath for about two minutes, rest, and then go back into the sauna," she explained. "Repeating that three to four times makes me feel a big surge of energy in my body."
Speaking frankly about more changes, she said, "I thought I was sweating less after losing weight, but after recently regaining a little, it feels like I’m back to how I was before."
Wrapping up the moxibustion and sitz bath session, Soyou said she felt clear results: "I feel like the puffiness has gone down. When I’m tired, my eyes usually sink in, but right now the swelling is definitely reduced," she shared with satisfaction.
Meanwhile, Soyou made headlines recently for reportedly dropping close to 20 kg.
